In lessons (mainly English) 2 @$$holes (both boys!!) sing WATC and they only know the chorus, and then they have the cheeks to say that Queen is crap!!! mast of the stuff in the charts is crap!!! GRRR it pisses me off when people judge things by what era they come from and who they are/were!!! Well i have a message to anyone who thinks Queen are crap:
If we didnt have the likes of Queen or all the other rock bands that were around we wouldnt have the music we have today!!! If you dont like Queen then so be it but dont take the piss out of people who like Queen, we dont do it to you so dont do it to us!!!

This really weird guy on this one message board like four years ago posted the most bizarre Queen rumor ever in reply to a post I made. Here it is:
"Have you considered the meaning of the term "Queen"? You might be too young to remember this, but this guy raised quite a stir when he died, and left his estate to be divided between not one, not two, but three homosexual lovers. Two were transvestites. He was singing to one of
them, though it uncertain whether he was singing to the one who gave him AIDS. The third homosexual lover was also a minor but he had
reached maturity by the time this testament was being discussed."
I responded that, no, he caused a stir because he gave his house to Mary Austin, who was most certainly not a homosexual lover of any sort, nor a minor. He then replied with a bunch of crap about how Mary Austin was lucky that Freddie did not give her HIV. I told him that he was just trying to be an ass because all the crap about he was saying about Freddie's will was just that, crap. I told him he must be mixed up because Freddie GAVE MOST OF HIS $$$ to Mary Austin.
He replies:
"There was only one gay musician who was a lead singer to Queen and pretended to have a female acquaintance, and then spawned a rash of lawsuits when he named a bunch of obscure homosexuals in his will. I do not care how many Queen Fan-Zines leave out all the bad parts. If

Now, I'd love to know how you can pretend to have an acquantience. Jeez. Then he said a bunch of bullcrap about people who contract AIDS being disgusting, and that Freddie's offended because I don't realize he's gay (!).

I once when about 12 or 13 had a queen t shirt and went into town. This was about 1994 (ish) and 3 girls a few years older were walking towards me and commented on the shirt about being gay and liking gay music.
I was devistated, being 13 and called gay by girls when girls were taking a interest to me..
Now the only rude people that annoy me are the trolls on message boards who pick for fights by picking at grammar and spelling, well intended posts and links, and opinions that others are allowed to have.

My sister starting saxophone and is getting into jazzy music. I think this is great. She has her individual taste and I have mine. Just some people insist that its wrong to like Queen, 70's rock or jazz. We must only like music by Rhiana and the Pussycat Dolls. I look at the choice of music I'm meant to listen to and think what shit. None of these bands are brilliant, none will make a lasting impression on the music world. They'll disappear and they're all so fake and boring. There is a fine line between being influenced by an artist and just copying them. The music today dominating the charts all sounds the same!
