No, it's obvious that Freddie wrote it.
First of all, Elvis didn't write this song. Second, he never sang it, because he was already dead before Freddie could write it.

I rememebr something similar appearing on QZ some years ago. There was a CD where a person with a voice similar to Elvi's covered some songs like Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Candle In The Wind.
