Probably because he is one of many people (Ronaldo being the worst) who have totally ruined this World Cup by diving everytime anyone comes anywhere near him.

OK, France won... not what I expected as I was cheering for Portugal.
Yes, Ronaldo might be a very skilled player but as true player of integrity and class he still has a lot of maturing to do.

I really enjoyed the group stages.
Germany v Sweden and Argentina v Mexico were great games, Holland v Portugal was great comedy.
However, since then negativity and cheating has turned this tournament into a complete joke. Portugal along with Holland and the Italians should be ashamed. Let's introduce yellow cards afterwards for blatant diving like Pauleta's episode in the box, then if the fuckers do it again, send them home. They will soon stop.

I actually thought it was a pretty boring game. I don't see how France wasn't even able to make 1 goal (other than the penalty)! IMO, Italy vs. Germany was way better even when neither sides were able to make a goal! The wait was well worth it. I think Italy deserves to win the World Cup this year, they've been playing really well.
p.s. Happy B-day Alberto Gilardino! It's pretty cool how his b-day is on the same day as Italy's victory over Brazil in the 1982 World Cup. Go Italy!

Not really a great match. Barthez is some strange goalkeeper. Well, he is the clown of France, that's well-known. Portugal played better, but not great.
It was not really a penalty, but that shows Henry's experience as a good football player. The same with Figo, when he was 'hit' in his head by Boularousz. Nice penalty by Zidane. This one was unstoppable, because he shot in the very left corner of the goal, I believe he even hit the post a bit.
I hope France will win this tournament and I hope they will play better against Italy. But France has some strong defence. And I love Ribery his playing.

Last night the Portuguese team lost all the rest of respect some people might still have had. The French defensive stood like a wall but to beat Italy they need to improve a lot.

Yes exactly. If they had tried to score each time they fell in the box, they would have had a lot of chances.
