France Vs Portugal - Your comments

Ok, I didn't watch the game, so I don't really know whether it was good or what...

But, I wanted Portugal to win.

I have nothing against France, and that's what's that all about.


Now Italy VS France... I hope Italy wins, but if France wins I'll be happy too.

I can't stand Portugal, they have a good team but they play too dirty, I don't stand that kind of things in sports.

So if Portugal goes to the final, it would be great for me, cause I would get excited about the final score... Too bad it won't happen.

I agree, especially given Pauleta's performance (or more accurately, non-performance).

However I refuse to accept England fans (generally, not eggy specifically) whining about Portugal diving when at club level the same people were quite happy to see Porto dive, cheat & time-waste their way past Man Utd in the Champions League a couple of years back.

A tie with the Italians, which wouldn't have been possible without the help an Italian player who scored in his own goal.
So Kudos to Italy for helping the U.S. take one point back home.

Back to France... they already won a World Cup in 1998.
