You did a great job dude. Collecting all of those interviews? Awesome work. One thing that I see now is that rock critics are just stupid... well duh everyone says but let me explain:
They're musical mental midgets. When you read a lot of the reviews it seems that what turns them off is complex chords or "classical arrangemnets" as some put it. They're small minds were only capable of digesting basic 3 chord rock and it's subtle variations. Queen should be gald that they didn't appeal to the lowest common denominator of rock.

all i have to say is they do not know rock music. that's all.
I noticed People Magazine always gave Queen good reviews usually. Never totally dissed them. And they include Freddie Mercury in every issue almost. I've seen a few pictures of him in the magazine from the past year, and I don't read it much!
and to think innuendo was really nice... you know what, you guys were right in saying that freddie was smart to have not announced his ailment. they would've written soft, nicer reviews, and they wouldn't really be objective and all. but what i love about queen is their ability to brush off dumb as hell critics like them. :)
