I'm devestated...Sid was a great musician and composer/songwriter. His life was not as it should've been, but his art lives on in every Pink Floyd song, both the ones he worked on and the ones he didn't.

Other than Smile being an opening act for Pink Floyd back in 1969/1970, and Brian May recording with David Gilmour back in 1990 (I believe)... there's not much connection between Queen and Pink Floyd.

1984 was being an opening act for PF before Smile once, Brian and Roger worked with Dave two times in the studio (Smoke On The Water and Stonk), Roger and John shared one stage with PF in 1993.

Have you no tact? Go ask your retarded questions elsewhere. This topic mourns the loss of a great artist, it doesn't form material for a cozy chat.[/QUOTE]

I have more tact than calling people "retarded" like a three year old. This is, after all, a Queen board, so I don't find a Queen tie-in question to be out of line. After all, Syd and Freddie were contemporaries - Syd was nine months minus one day older than FM.

Now i'm listening Madcap Laughs, a jewel, peace my friends, now hes' playin guitar with all the greatest

And this is, after all, the personal section, which is not at all Queen-related.

That's interesting. It says:

Personal
To discuss anything you like.

Hmmm. Funny that. We might have to change the subtitle so people don't get the wrong idea.
