I don`t know a lot about it because I´ve only been there once, but I remember that there were lots of old castles and nearby there is the "Niederwald Monument" which is pretty famous in Germany (it was built because of the unification of Germany in 1870 i think). And I remember the wine festival every summer.This year it´s from 18 - 21 August. [/QUOTE]

:D I just noticed that there are two different Ruedesheims :D. I wanted to visit some friends today and my father lost his way and we ended up in Ruedesheim 2 :D
Ruedesheim 1 is at the Rhine, and Ruedesheim 2 is a very small village, so I think you were talking about Ruedesheim 1.

Wow, confusing. Yeah, i think it's Ruedesheim 1. The one not too far off from Mainz.
I don't think the company we're going with would take us to a 'very small village'. lol

Both Ruedesheims are not too far off from Mainz, but i really think this company will take you to Ruedesheim 1 because Ruedesheim 2 is boring...
