I should record Tie Your Mother Down too, I'll do it one of these days...

And BTW, it's been a long time since I uploaded the last Queen solo on YouTube... any ideas of which one I should do next?

=S
I Was Born to Love You is my favorite Brian guitar part. If you ever do that one, I'd like to see it.
It's one of my favourite solos too. Actually, I transcribed the only tab available on the internet of that solo xD (I guess it's the only one, cuz I didn't find it when I was looking for it)

I guess I have to do that one too
How soon do you think you'll be able to do it?
Wo ist das kamerahhhhhhhhhhh!!! NJ!!!
Hey Guys,

Thanks for the messages! Now all I need is the curly hair! :P
Freddie: "Yes, we'll have a great big cock fly over the crowd!" Roadies: "Yeah! Great Idea!" Freddie: "And it will fly into a great big mouth with a moustache!"

Actually, I could do it right now.

But I don't record those things in my home...

Ok, well when you have had time to do it, I'd love to hear it. Let me know when you are done. Thanks.

Do them all again buddy, someone I trust a lot says you're better these days. :P

Although, the sentence : "Been a long time since I..." makes me think you should try some Led Zeppelin or something.

Almost all the solos on YouTube are the very first take... except Bicycle Race, which I learnt 5 minutes before recording it xD

Don't take those videos too seriously, they're just me fooling around, I should upload some Vai or Satriani stuff... but it's too hard to learn the songs note-by-note, it takes too much time.

Anyway, I'll see...

xD

Totally understood - I once made a video like those where I ran through some Queen songs, on new strings, a January day with 40C and high humidity, and a really shit mood. So it wasn't my best at all :P

Of course

FUCKING TELL ME ABOUT IT! Haha
[QUOTENAME]Onikage wrote: [/QUOTENAME]I did not say Squier Stratocaster, I said a real FENDER Stratocaster! ^^

Those guitars are a completely diferent world. :P
Mexican Fender Strats kind of suck until you put some good electronics in 'em.
Creativity can always cover for a lack of knowledge.
I'd like to see some one play that Radio ga ga solo with slide with a red special.
MY GOD spell it write.
I'm still trying to understand what's the point of putting those kind of videos in youtube.

You get two kinds of youtube music. Wankers who just want to show off (who don't realise that in 12 months time, they'll be better players anyway) or people who just want to have fun with it. In any event, I don't see the 'harm' in it as such. I don't see it as a competition as much as a collaboration; people are just sharing their abilities. Not a bad thing really.
I love seeing other "non professional" guitar players playing on YouTube. There is no point other than exactly what Zebonka said, to share their ability and maybe for some constructive criticism from other seasoned guitarist or just regular folk to get some feedback on how it sounds. Does everything have to have a "point?"

Z, you have videos on YouTube? Can you link to them please? Do any of them have your hair in them? :)

The only time I ever uploaded myself playing guitar was just to rapidshare, and it kinda blew chunks :P

I've every intention of putting 'something' up soon. I've already started putting up videos of other kinds, so I suppose guitar is up next. My name at youtube is Zebonka (just like here) so yeah, someday I'll put something up.
I will attempt to grow a Red Special in the near future.

I'm planning to put more stuff of my playing on youtube. If you're a musician of any kind you can learn a tonne from other 'non-proffesional' players...i.e.: what not to do! lol.

It's just for fun! Nothing serious.
