Did Freddie ever Record a song with Elton Jonh

I remember Freddie saying that he didn't want his relationships with other artists to turn to business, he just wanted to stay as friends instead of just being recording buddies.

Are you guys certain that Freddie and Elton never recorded together? Has this been confirmed? Wasn't there some 'activity' in 1976 in Advision studios London? Can someone ask John Stuart, he'll know. Shall I have a look in the tape archive in the meantime?

I thought they spent time in the studio in the mid seventies, i think there are a few photos even. Maybe look on the net for these pics? I would but i am tired. lol

So many questions... Let me ask you question too - after you'll look in the tape archive (in the meantime) - will you tell us (i.e. confirm if it's true or not) the answer?

(Off-topic: seems like Greg is one of very few Englishmen who uses the word "shall"! I learnt that damned "shall" in the school and tried to understand difference between "shall" and "will", but no-one use it...)

"Shall" is more polite and is used in those sort of questions: shall I check the archives? shall we (go, read, dance...)?

Greg's using it in a similar way to "should" in this case, which is correct. And instead "will I ...?" would be grammatically possible but it doesn't quite make much sense.

I shall continue to read the odd thing here - until the builders leave me. Keep me entertained chaps, with your conversation about 'shall'. I like it.

I think the perfect cd would be Freddie & Elton doing Gospel songs! Seriously, but with Elton on piano, and Freddie on vocals. Elton is a very good gospel style pianist and Freddie would have made a great gospel singer. I always wanted to hear him sing gospel, but never happened. :( The closest i have heard is "Everybody Happy?" which has a great old Gospel sound.
