Gene and Paul own the KISS Co. It appears that having the RIAA re-audit their back catalog is not high on their to do list. Each record company that KISS has been signed to (Casablanca, Mercury, Universal, Sanctuary) had accounting departments. KISS has a ball park figure of how much product they've sold and that's good enough for them. Whether they state they've sold 70 million, 75 million, or 100 million cds world-wide, it doesn't have any affect on me. So why should a person like yourself, who is not a KISS fan, care?
I don't care how many cds they sell. I don't own stock in the KISS Co. All I care about is that they have the ability to record a new studio cd and that that studio cd is a good one.

Just asking. Being 16 you missed out when KISS exploded on the music scene in the 1970s. KISS has had some popularity in the U.K./Europe. Their popularity goes in cycles more there than it does elsewhere around the world.
I'm not 16, so I'm not influenced by 99% of the music that is new today. It's the same thing in reverse for you as far as KISS goes.
If you've never seen them before you should check them out the next time they tour. You should at least experience the show once in your life.
