Hearing any Queen songs on radio stations here is a shock really, but I guess the only royal "shocker" was hearing Dragon Attack.

why dont you tune into virgin radio classic rock via the internet.they play rare queen songs all the time and on wednesday at noon {british time} they have queen dream team which plays 3 queen songs in a row {listeners choice}.a couple of weeks back they played march of the black queen, innuendo n ride the wild wind,my 3 fav queen songs of all time.well cool.
Um, considering they don't play 90% of the Queen stuff on the radio, I'd say...they're mostly pretty rare.
I Want It All is one of the only songs being played here. Along with Killer Queen and BoRhap and maybe The Miracle.

I heard on Dutch Radio "Who Wants to Live Forever" sung by Brian's daughter (I think it was Emily) ... which was a big shock, since she doesn't sing in tune very much though
It was a special Radio show with "rarities" anyway

I've heared "Need your loving tonight" the other day. I was like, what the hell is goin' on :)))) !? Thank God it's Christmas is played during Yuletide every year here in Croatia.
It is the memory or the occassion that makes it special not the song:
Years ago I remember being in Copenhagen at the Hard Rock cafe and they played, love is the hero by Billy squier. At that time I never heard the song, but being a queen fanatic I knew that Freddie sung on the 12" version of that song, so it was weird to here the sentence: 'love is the hero'...I thought: hey that must be that song....
The coolest thing I ever heard on radio was a on a tape from 1980. My dad had taped a radioshow on cassete because John Lennon was murdered. On that radio show, a dj announces: "and now the next single of Queen: 'Flash'. That was a cool thing to hear.
I also remember the first time they played 'Heaven for everyone on the radio' It was a special moment for me, I was 12 years old and this was the first time I heard a new Queen song on the radio...
I also remember Too much love will kill you by Brian, it was number one back in the day when I heard it on radio.

Rock It
a few years ago they played the ANATO version of love of my life and that was pretty rare i thought.
Well, I think the rarest one I have heard was Ogre Battle.. besides Thank God It's Christmas... of course I have heard the BBC version of We Will Rock You here on Banana 101 a few years ago during their lunch block..
Now with that said, I have to admit, I had an inside man on the radio station and he would play ANY Queen request I asked for.. this was a LONG LONG time ago.. he would bring his collection from home in so when I requested stuff he played it from HIS stock.. so if you were listening to WKQZ 93.3 FM here in Michigan back in say.... 1988... you would have heard some REALLY off the wall Queen songs on the radio.. LOL.. Brighton Rock was one he played a lot for me, as well as Modern Times Rock And Roll.. but those were special requests from me and don't really count as RARE songs on the radio.. from ME that is. LOL

I heard Brighton Rock two days in a row once. :O
Rarest queen song played on radio? Probably the studio version of The Call from a UK radio show that was shared here a while back (that is if you agree to call that a Queen song ...)
Love Of My Life, '39.
