Buried or Burned?

I don't really care if I'm going to be dead (not burned or buried alive).

I think I'd rather be buried so that my remains can go back to the earth. I like the idea of being buried in woodland or on a hill. Not in a cemetary.
Cremated. No question.

I don't want some strangers in an embalming room to undress my dead body, then 'shave' and wash it with disinfecting solutions. I don't want them draining the fluids from my then naked and shaved dead body, only to pump it full of formaldehyde. And I sure as hell don't want some strangers re-dressing, applying makeup or styling hair on said body.

Oh. My. God. Just burn me please, and get it over with. <shudder>

TommyQuinn cremated.

That could raise a fortune for charity.

I wouldn't either. Careless people trample your grave.
But then again, if you're buried in a woodland, what if someone clears the land and builds a super walmart over top of you?
Something to think about :/

Hm..this is an interesting topic.
I'd have to say I'd want to be cremated. I'd want to actually have a funeral where people could see my body before hand, and I'd want to donate all of my organs that could go (what the heck do you need them for after you die?) and then I'd want to be cremated. Don't scatter the ashes though...and preferably don't keep me in a living room or something for someone to knock over. Bury the urn in a nice cemetary when it's done. I never liked the ideas of bugs eating you all up, and besides, I'm not scared of fire. You are dead anyway.
Honestly, I'm more scared of going comatose and staying like that for a long time before death on life support. If that ever happens...please someone pull the plug! None of this Terri Schiavo crap.

I couldn't agree more.

Would the phrase 'burrrrn' be appropriate here?

Watch it boys!!!! =P
I fail to see the point of burial plots, gravestones, ect.

Cremate me, and scatter my ashes somewhere.

Wait till I'm dead first of course...

Well, everyone has to start somewhere! =)

I made that comment just a couple hours after I found out my Grandfather died. I came to read the board to take my mind off of it, and then saw this.

Well that is something I will just have to live with when I die. I don't really care about people walking over me or that, I'll be dirt eventually.

I like cemetaries (is that supposed to be cemetarys?) actually, they're pretty cool to go on romantic walks in. I just don't see death that way myself, it's not a big deal to me.
