Now that I think about it, sometimes I do feel that the brakes start acting all weird.... :O dunno what that's all about.

Anyway. It's a 1993 Ford Taurus SHO. That photo is from the summer of 2003. Since then, the car has gone through a total transformation. The automatic transmission has been swapped for a 5 speed manual. And I have removed about 500 lbs of dead weight. The result of this can be realized through Newtons Second Law (F=m*a).

I agree with you here Caspar, but you are going to be waiting a long time for a Hydrogen powered car. They are too volitile if the tank gets cracked, especially in an accident situation.
It'll be a long time before they manage to fix that little problem of how to stop the whole car from blowing up if a crack in the hydrogen tank lets in more oxygen than can be controled. [/QUOTE]

I personally think alot more people should use public transport. I live in the suburbs of Belfast and get the bus to and from work every day. The bus takes me to the city centre and a 15 minute walk gets me to work.
As I stand waiting for my bus (which is never too long as there is one every 15 mins), I see people crawling along in the traffic in their cars, with the vast majority of cars only having one person in it. It will take them longer to get to work, as there is a designated bus lane, and once they get into the city centre, alot of them will have to pay for parking which costs many times more per day than the price of a bus ticket anyway! And of course, its all having a negative effect on the environment.
In an ideal world, I would like to be able to cycle to work, but I'm not brave enough to take my chances with the traffic on a bicycle![/QUOTE]
I travel solely by public transportation and bicycle/on foot. As for airplanes, I don't fly (have once, because it involved crossing a major ocean), and do my best to keep it that way. All in all, I use my bike 9 times out of 10 (or in fact: 17 times out of 18 to be exact, in a normal week).
