John Deacon posting on these forums?

Maybe he's the one who keeps posting that stripper picture.

I don't think Deacon would stick around with nitwits like Nigga_Lip_Juice on board.

I wager that if he ever posted here, he probably got put off pretty quickly.

It was well known that he posted on the chat rooms in the early days but I think that was often on the fan club site possibly some others, whether he still does or not I guess depends on how far out of the Queen business if wishes to stay.

John Deacon DID post a reply in Brian's guestbook on brianmay.com

It was years ago and was a comment on a quote Brian once made: John is retired and all he does now is collecting his royalty checks.

John wished Brian a happy birthday and said that he was doing fine, collecting checkes.

It was confirmed by Brian himself that it was Indeed the real John Deacon who posted this. I think it was a brilliant post from John.

I do believe that John visits and posts on these forums. From what I heard, he uses a girly name as his screen name, so that the people he's talking to dosen't know that it's him. So, watch and think about what you're typing, because you never know who might be reading. ;-)

Whatever. We all know that The Opposition was at least John Deacon, if not John Deacon and Roger Taylor together. Trust me.

I never figured John would be the type to be computer-litterate, but I'm pretty sure he reads the boards once in a while. I think it's totally normal for a band/band member to want to check out what their fans are up to. It's kind of like checking up on your kids.

I too would like to have a link to that guestbook comment that Deaky wrote...
