Why girls go for Jerks??

I've noticed that jerks get all the luck, i'm nice and i'm funny and great to be with, but no one wants THAT in this day and age :(

Mind you i have noticed that a lot of girls do tend to try and bleed you dry, sometimes just because they can. There are nice girls that are not taken tho, so never give up the fight and all that :)

I would go so far as to say:

90% of guys think they are "nice guys," while they also think that 90% of other guys are "jerks."

90% of girls think they are attracted to "nice guys," whereas 90% of girls are rather attracted to confidence and humor (typical of "jerks").

I believe the lady may be right, if you don't mind my saying. Trust me, where I live, there are a lot of jerk-faced guys around...

Ok,,, i would say am a nice guy. I am far from the jerk type.. How ever, i wanna say for all the nice guys, that us nice guys dont have to finish last. As music man said, many nice guy's are nice but thats it, they are not being any more than that besides glingly ect ect. I find i am nice guy but what helps me is i have fun, i stand up for my self, i have confidnece (dont mean to come accross as i am bragging) but it was always the same old thing i was being told, "your a nice guy and i dont wanna hurt you" then they end up goign for the jerk. Mauinly the jerk showed thema good time. Ok, yes gilr's wanna be loved, hugged, kissed, brought gifts at time, and have nice thigns whispaerd in the ear, but at the right time. Not ever second do does tht have to happep. The feel smothered, same as a guy when a girl sms's or calls him 24/7. (some people like this but thats a different story) you got to be your self, you go to stand on your own to feet, you can been the nicest guy and get know were if your a bore, or you can be the nicest but have charm, self confidence, most importantly,, you need to have a back bone. Thats what make you stand out. you cant be a sob. This is just what i have found in my life. It might make sense to some one else,ir migt not, girl's might think its silly what i am saying, but we all find things out for a self, i dont wanna be jerk, i am nice guy, but i believe nice guys dont have to finsh last, they can come first and in the most amazing way. And if you do find some one who like go's for a jerk... Dont worry, good luck to them, i see it all the time and have not seen it ever end in a happy way.

I Don't Like Jerks, That's Probably Why I Don't Like Anyone....That I Know....

In my school (As if thirteen and fourteen years olds really need to be going out) the popular people recycle each other and when a popular guy dumps a popular girl, he moves on to another popular girl and then the two popular girls begin to hate each other and call each other bitches and split their little cliques up.
Basically, the hotness factor is big in our school. If you are not hot or popular, do not plan on getting asked out until people get older and more mature and become less shallow. But to say something about the topic: Most of the popular girls go for the group of popular boys who are... yes, jerks.
