To hopefully make and end to this discussion: the official press-release that has been sent out about this does NOT say A WORD about John Deacon.
It DOES say that "BRIAN MAY AND ROGER TAYLOR WILL BE INVOLVED".
Told you .......!!

Regarding who should play Freddie....come on, there is only ONE possible choice!

Liza !!

Seriously....think about it! It COULD happen!

:)
Oh please...no movie, no movie, please no movie!!

Johnny Depp would fit the "really incredible" category. I think Johnny Depp would be good at doing Freddie's speaking voice and mannerisms. Also, he still hasn't aged at all. So, you really could just add a wig and eye makeup, and he could easily be the 1970's Freddie. Also, Johnny Depp has that intense look in his eye when he is serious, the same "it" factor that Freddie had, and a very exotic look to him that would really work. Fine features and exotic look, slim body, perfect.

I think they would have to use Freddie's voice for any singing in the movie.

If John Deacon became involved in this project, it would not surprise me at all. I think he especially would want to see the project done really well.[/QUOTE]

i totally second this. even my non-Queenie friends agree that Depp would make a wonderful Freddie. if they dont cast him, i will definately cry...

i've heard that Greg Brooks has good chanses in acting Freddie
I agree that Johnny Depp would be the perfect choice to play FM. He is probably the most adventures actor and will be willing to go outside the Hollywood mainstream to do the movie. A real professional and a very good choice!

As for Brian I think Orlando Bloom might be a good choice. (Hazel contact lenses)

Roger Hmmm that's a challenge Maybe someone new

John maybe a newcomer as well.

Cheers,

NO, jeron it doesn't the quote is "There is a film in the pipeline and we're all involved in it."

he didn't specify who "all of them" are wich is why people ar posing this question about deacon being involved

if you are trying to end the topic at least look at the fucking quote instead of writing whatever the hell you feel like writing

idiot!
this may sound silly but Sacha Baron Cohen (borat) is a huge fan of Queen and a Freddie look-a-like.He has a flare for the bizarre so why not him.High Five!

Hey MORON!

Who is 'he'?
I did not quote a 'he'!
I did not quote Brian or whoever you think I was quoting.
I quoted a PRESS RELEASE from ANP.
Something YOU can NEVER have read unless you work for some official journalist media in Europe!

In this case YOU are the one that should FUCKING read MY quote properly instead of starting namecalling!
Who is this jeron anyway?
John: "It's the one thing I wish I could do - sing."
