thanks so much for sharing. I usually don't talk in these forms a whole lot, except for thanking seeders, and offering to seed as much as I can. I'd like to respond to the negative comments concerning torrents. Torrents can take day's to download, this is true, but it doesn't have to be this way. If you configure the client software and your firewall if you have one, and your router properly, you can download and upload at good speeds. The problem is that not enough people stick around to seed after they've received the entire show. This depends on seeders, more seeders the better, and leachers too, the more people moving the data, the faster the trandfer will go for everybody, just my 2 penny's worth man. richard this is a great site, I've been on it for years, thanks for all your hard efforts, and the efforts of all, this is a fantastic site, and community.

That's most likely because you're behind a firewall. Firewalls can slow down your uploading and/or downloading speed. Here are some websites that can help you out:

Finally, when replying, how DO people quote someone elses postings in those shaded boxes?

You see three little icons above each post. Click on the one on the right to quote what someone said.

I'm an example of "super firewalled", since I'm behind my company firewall and can't modify its configuration (i'm not the net admin).
So for me there's no alternative: rapidshare or similar sites are the only solution.
