I think they are just another Fall Out Boy clone.

Hmmmm, I dunno, apart from the fact all I could hear were screaming girls, probably screaming "wow, where do you get your makeup done!" I didn't think that much of it. I suppose I can make a better judgement if I heard the studio version
That was painful to watch. I think those butttarts should just stick to crappy emo songs. Stay away from Queen!
I wish if people were going to say bad things about it, they would write it out and be objective. I don't care about this band, and have never heard them before - so I gave them a chance.
Or at least have a discussion about it.
For instance, I'm curious to know if anyone else thought the vocals lacked a sensuality that the first had and the like.

Agree Totally
I see what you mean about the vocals, although, since they are doing this live, they may be a bit tired. I mean, if you listen to Freddie singing Killer Queen during the Live Killers tour and such, that didn't really have any sensuality to it at all.

^ Hmmm... I think my weird Queen-not-really-loving brother (really, it's the oddest thing with him... he says he likes Queen, but... yet... doesn't) has "Live Killers" - so I'll have to steal it and listen to it.
I listened to the YouTube version and it sounded Ok from what I could hear through the screams. I don't really expect any other band to cover a Queen song note by note or even in the same key. For Christ's sake, not even Freddie Mercury sang the song exactly as in the record and it didn't sound sensual at all, just listen to the versions on LK and Montreal 81.
I kinda like to hear different covers, even those which use different styles of music. I think most of Queen's songs are great tunes with great melodies and can be performed differently from Queen's original, flawless and sometimes over the top style.
I liked this one and I like the fact that new bands cover Queen tracks. There's no need to feel offended by this or say that this or that band does not "deserve" to record a Queen track. Come on! Queen were great musicians but, in the big picture, they were just another band. They are not untouchable and they shouldn't be. Chill out!
