Blue Rock, I agree, is probably a more 'complete' album. It's a little sad that they split up right after that.
I also heard some live recordings and they were really good.
There are also some good numbers in "Shove it", although the title track and the single 'cowboys and indians' are really junky: 'contact' and 'love lies bleeding' are really nice, as of course Heaven for Everyone, Roger version.

DO you know anything about the other members, what they're doing, etc etc... (Spike excluded of course)

Take a look at sleeves of most of Queen/solo releases since 1992 and you'll see what Joshua is doing...
I thought I heard one of the The Cross members is involved with the musical We Will Rock You. I am not sure what his name is and I can't look for it now as I am at work ;)
I think I'll be Clint Eastwood Jimi Hendrix he was good Let's try William the Conqueror Now who else do I like?

Got all three albums. Blue Rock is great. I love Bad Attitude. Great opener.

I think a The Cross-reunion might be very nice, I'd buy their 4th album :)
Unless it's full of crap of course...
No, I'd still buy it

I think we all agree then. Blue Rock IS the best of the 3 Cross albums and Mad Bad... has the best cover. But I prefer Shove It to Mad Bad as an album.
