What about the rest of the movie cast?

Enough about Johnny Depp as Freddie. If he's cast, who should play the rest of Queen? I vote for:

John - Edward Norton

Roger - Kiefer Sutherland

Brian - Will Ferrell (cuz he's tall and has naturally curly hair. Oh, come on. I could have said Dustin Diamond or Justin Guarini, but they're too young. Actually, I have no idea who should play Brian.)

Yes, I know they're all American (except for Mr. Sutherland), but so is Johnny Depp. And they're all roughly the same age, so they'll all look too old for the first tour but they'll look just right for Live Aid.

Now who would play Mary Austin?

How about Toni Collette as Mary Austin? She's a good actress and there is a definite resemblence.

Does it really matter who plays John? I mean, he's such a quiet character that we'll probably see about 3 seconds of John in the final cut (and that's when he plays the AOBTD bass riff). The rest of him will never leave the editing room. Sad but true, That's how Hollywood flix are these days.
