What about the rest of the movie cast?

A friend of mine suggested Adrien Brody for the role of John. I think that's a pretty good match. :D

If you're thinking that you can squeeze Freddie's life inside a two hour biopic and waste precious time bringing some famous cast to play three musicians who led pretty flat non-showbiz living, you don't know how Hollywood works.

If any famous actor is going to participate, he'll surely be casted to play Jim Hutton, Peter Freestone or the AIDS-infected guy.

Sean Connery for Roger Taylor.

Although it will be good to have a high profile film about Freddie, my real desire would be to have the film actually about Queen - we've already got 'The Untold Story' which gives the full, true Freddie life story, and this film will just add to the impression for those non Queen fan cinema goers that Freddie was the band, and the others were just his backing band

i have no idea of whos gonna play who, but whats this thing gonna be rated? i really hope that i can even see it, because most likely, there will be sexual stuff, that there gonna show, which makes it R, which rules me out.

Wait, you mean that there's a documentary or something?? And yeah, I agree that the band isn't recognised enough. Freddie didn't write Rock You or Dust.

I hope they get real musicians to play the other parts.

well, guys, i do find thsi topic very interesting. yes i am a queen freak, and i always will be, but i got interested in def leppard after i watched hysteria: the def leppard story. they were influenced by queen, u know. well anyway, they picked pretty interesting characters to play them. the only one that pretty much looked like they should was the drummer, and still there wasn't such a huge resemblence. however, i do agree that johnny dep should play freddie because i know that a lot of people havent thought about this, but when u watch charlie and the choc factory i just see freddie in teh im going slightly mad video. i have no i dea why but johnny depp does remind me of freddie. as for the rest of the cast, there is a problem. i know its hollywood, but as the members get older, tehy kinda get more wrinkles and john goes gray, and they kinda gain weight.........................
