Concentrating really hard, in the hopes that Bush' heart will cave in and his head will explode.

Just hand him a copy of BANG! and watch his brain work itself into a puddle...

But that would make me guilty of physically aiding in his death...it's much more fun if they KNOW I did it, but can never prove it.

DA: "Your honor, the defendant WANTED the president to die, so the president DID. The prosecution demands life in prison."
Judge: "I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that it was April Fools today. Case dismissed!"

The restaurant my dad manages (not owns, thankfully), is closing for good on New Year's...they've gone completely bankrupt. It's really sad, because it's truly the tastiest and healthiest food around (except desserts are no where near healthy, haha). He's closing on New Year's Eve, won't be out til 2 AM or so. So we're staying overnight at a nearby hotel so he won't have to drive home when all the crazy drunks are out. While he's at work, we're going to do a movie marathon. And get pizza from the restaurant. I dunno, it doesn't seem like it's going to be that great.

As much as I'll miss the place, and am a bit concerned about him being unemployed, I'm relieved it's going. Because my dad hardly spends time at home when he works (now, 6 out of 7 days a week...everyone is abandoning him, so he needs to work more). He often closes (which means he doesn't get home til 12:30-1:30 in the morning) and always leaves the house by 6 AM, if not earlier. It's really bad for his health the amount of stress he goes through with that place. And, every now and then he has to be real careful in case some people stopping by are in connection with some mafia. It's kind of funny. You may not believe me, but it's true. One of them got arrested. But I'm not giving out his name, which is stupid but just in case, haha.

The thing I'll miss most is their bread dip and gelato and homemade squash ravioli and brick oven pizza and tiramisu. :P

Funny, I wasn't aware Bush even had a heart.

That sucks.....I actively hate and despise corporate restaurants. I will choose the single owner place 99 times out of 100.

It is damn near impossible, though, to compete against the Pizza Huts, the Papa Johns, the Dominos (I ran a pizza joint when I was in college, similar to your dads, a mom and pop place). It is really doing well to simply stay afloat in a business like that.

I digress. For new years eve, I will be attending a family get together at my Mother-in-laws for the football games at 1:00, and be heading home shortly thereafter to spend the evening with my precious wife, and my wonderful daughter, and some friends from the neighborhood. That way, everyone can walk home.......
The Golden Gate Bridge should have a long bungee cord for people who aren’t quite ready to commit suicide but want to get in a little practice.
No plans. We're not much for partying :-) My husband and I usually go out to dinner early, come home and watch a movie, toast the new year at midnight, and in bed by 12:01. lol!

:-)

It seems Bush is the only thing on your mind lately.
