my parents has forbidden me to vissit my friends at new yers eve because they think that they live too far away, so I'm gonna have to stay at home with my mum her husband and my dog eating schrimps at new years evening <:(... I feel so sorry for myself :_:

Same thing as all years past, since my friends from high school all have families and are doing family stuff, and all my CMU friends are at their homes across the state (and the world in some cases) I'll just be at home with my family (well, my parents. My sister is actually going out with friends, but her friends are not exactly my cup of tea, even though they are nice enough...intelligent conversation not high on their list)
I'm getting conned into Church in the morning, which is gunna suck, but at least I'll get to see my grandparents on that side of the family, since I haven't seen them in a while. After that, just coming home, probably watching DVD's or helping Mom with my scrapbooking of pictures from France.
As for the night? I may not even stay up till midnight. Probably just watch some movies and go to bed before the ball even drops. Par for the course on my New Years Eves. Rather be doing something with friends, but since that's not an option...no luck

I will be spending it with my boyfriend. It'll be our first New Year's Eve together since we've been dating, which is nearly two years! We plan to go see the late showing of Rocky Balboa and afterwords we will go to one of our favorite restuarants (the Heidelberg, most likely) and wait until the ball drops there.

Should be an eventful New Year's Eve. :-)

I'm going to have a good cry. I feel that there is no better way to ring in the new year than to go through a few tissues.

Pretending to be excited about 2007 and reflecting on 2006.

I'll be spending my new years eve with all my friends... I guess we'll have quite an party in the end.

Sorry for being an insufferable bastard, but I have to point this out:

New Year's Eve does NOT mean New Year's EVENING. Evening is the time of day from the end of the afternoon until the night starts. Although it is derived from the word 'eve', it means something completely different. 'Eve' means the period preceding an event (Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, but also the eve of war, etc).

I'm sleeping over my friend's house, and we're going to hang out, playing games and watching Detroit Rock City until midnight, using those little popper things and junk. It's gonna be fun.

Hey, I disagree, man.

If I died, and Love Gun, or Strutter or something, was on in the back ground, I'd be content.... But hell, I like a lot of stuff, so go figure.

I'm going over to my parents' friends' house...my parents and all of their people eat dinner, while I and the other kids play Gamecube. YAY.

I hate the Fireworks Ban Act. ;_;
