What is your opinion about its name? Mine are:
- Lover of Life, Singer of Songs.
- King Mercury

To be honest, I think the best title for the movie would be:

Freddie Mercury

However, if you want to spice things up:

Freddie Mercury, A Kind of Magic
Love of My Life.
(the story of Freddie Mercury)
I think the story should be narrated by Mary. I think that the film, coming from her "voice" (the only person Freddie trusted completely) would make the most sense.
^That's a fantastic idea! Mary Austin telling the tale of Freddie Mercury's life...it makes so much sense!

Totally agree.
This is the screenplay: When it is the 60th birthday of Freddie, Zanzibar (and everywhere) has delayed the celebration. Mary is sad, then she moves to a church.
Brian (or someone who cares about Freddie) (or a priest) comes to Marry and asks: "Are you Mary Austin?"
She answers: "Leave me alone". And the story is to be continued.

I'd do it a little differently. Perhaps start by Mary telling a bit about him, then go into a kind of 'flashback' telling of Mercury's life from the beginning, and alternate narrators telling about him, inserting them at pivotal points in his life.

Well, there are always people that opens their presents before the party starts...

But... of course Freddie's mother will do a short intro of the movie, then we'll see Freddie waving the crown in front of his audience... and then we see Freddie looking at them and we'll hear him sing (in his mind) "I think I'm going back, to the things I learned so well, in my youth"... the image fades and we're back in Zanzibar in the hospital where Freddie was born.
A woman lying in bed, holding her new born child, rays of sun enter the room and lighten up his face...

Of course the movie will end up completely different... :-)

The Legend: told by those he loved and trusted?

Whatever I don't care, so long as the other members of Queen are a major part of the movie. I love the idea of Mary as a narrator though!

Is this going to be only about Freddie or mainly about Freddie?

Because i think the name Queen should be in the title.

Take care
