Haha, I dont know but I find it funny
Every time one of these people mentions Queen or compares their voice to 'the lead singer of Queen', I panic. Are they deaf? Are they blind? Are they insane?
That first one was just.. unbelievable.
In seconds I was crying beacause of the first movie! The paaaaiinn! BR will never be the same...
I've seen some really pathetic attempts. Of course, I didn't see the whole thing, but I heard a sound clip on the radio. Sad. NO ONE IS AS GOOD AS FREDDIE!
But, personally, I'm not against the wannabes. Because they're fun to watch, even if it's a bit sad. And everybody loves to sing Queen, even if they're not good (e.g. me).

I really don't see why they pick quite possibly the best singer in rock music!! It only enhances how bad they are. Not even professional singers can measure up to him.

I was watching the show last night yelling at the tv for someone to stop him, oh my god it was unbearable the red headed guy.
they were all pretty bad last night. That was as close to being tourtered as I want to be!
I saw that the other night and right after Brenda was asked what she was going to sing and she answered "Under Pressure, by Freddie Mercury and David Bowie" I basically screamed and yelled "you fucking moron!" Maybe I over reacted, but missing three other very important musicians...idiot.
As for Red, he made me laugh my ass off. Just the fact that he thinks he's better than "the lead singer from Queen" is enough to have me fall off my chair and die. I loved it even more when he almost forgot the title of Bohemian Rhapsody, now that was sad. By the way, I'm sure you've all noticed the judges faces when he said he thought he was better than Freddie Mercury? If you didn't, take a look...it's priceless.
To tell you the truth, I never liked American Idol, especially after "Queen" night. They kind of made Brian May look like an asshole.

I KNOW!!!!!!!!!! OMFG. I was laughing my fucking ass off when Red came on. He *thought* that his singing capability matched that of Freddie Mercury...judging from his appearance, I already knew that was BULLSHIT. So I heard him sing.

*falls off chair laughing* XD XD XD XD. That was an EMBARASSMENT to all things *Queen* and American Idol. Not only was he AWFUL...but he was SOOOOO cocky and self-confident, that he KEPT GOING! WTF!?!?!?! NO talent AT ALL. He whined through the entire part of Bo Rhap that he had to sing. Simon, Paula and Randy were trying not to tear up (that was the best part XDDDD) . MFG...IT WAS SO FUNNY! XD XD XD...I was crying when watching that. I, personally, think that most of the confident, and cocky people who TRY to sing Queen on American Idol (except those that have to, like last season) are SICK.
And as for the Under Pressure woman...X_X.
God help her. She didn't even know that "QUEEN AND David Bowie" composed it. What a fucking troll. No voice, No tone, No range...No anything. It was disgusting.
But it's not even the talent or singing a Queen song that counts...it's their additute towards it. "Oh I can sing better than Freddie Mercury".
