Was that first guy really serious? He really thinks he's as good as Freddie Mercury? No one on the goddamn planet is as good as Freddie Mercury, let alone that little insignificant piece of white trash.

Maybe I over reacted, but missing three other very important musicians...idiot.
As for Red, he made me laugh my ass off. Just the fact that he thinks he's better than "the lead singer from Queen" is enough to have me fall off my chair and die. I loved it even more when he almost forgot the title of Bohemian Rhapsody, now that was sad. By the way, I'm sure you've all noticed the judges faces when he said he thought he was better than Freddie Mercury? If you didn't, take a look...it's priceless.
To tell you the truth, I never liked American Idol, especially after "Queen" night. They kind of made Brian May look like an asshole.
I KNOW!!!!!!!!!! OMFG. I was laughing my fucking ass off when Red came on. He *thought* that his singing capability matched that of Freddie Mercury...judging from his appearance, I already knew that was BULLSHIT. So I heard him sing.

*falls off chair laughing* XD XD XD XD. That was an EMBARASSMENT to all things *Queen* and American Idol. Not only was he AWFUL...but he was SOOOOO cocky and self-confident, that he KEPT GOING! WTF!?!?!?! NO talent AT ALL. He whined through the entire part of Bo Rhap that he had to sing. Simon, Paula and Randy were trying not to tear up (that was the best part XDDDD) . MFG...IT WAS SO FUNNY! XD XD XD...I was crying when watching that. I, personally, think that most of the confident, and cocky people who TRY to sing Queen on American Idol (except those that have to, like last season) are SICK.
And as for the Under Pressure woman...X_X.
God help her. She didn't even know that "QUEEN AND David Bowie" composed it. What a fucking troll. No voice, No tone, No range...No anything. It was disgusting.
But it's not even the talent or singing a Queen song that counts...it's their additute towards it. "Oh I can sing better than Freddie Mercury".
My ass.
The fact is: American Idol is rediculous. I was disappointed LAST year and THIS year.
Off topic, I know...sorry. =/
HE NEVER SAID HE COULD SING BETTER!!!! HE SAID HE COULD SING AS GOOD!!!
.. but he did suck!

I haven't really been watching American Idol lately. The only one season I've relaly watched and kept up with was Season Four, where Carrie Underwood won. Was anyone else here watching when Constantine (my favourite contestant, by the way. He should've won!) sang Bohemian Rhapsody? It was incredible. I have to say, that that was the thing that got me into Queen. After hearing that, I went onto my computer, knowing we had Bo Rhap on it, and listened to it fifty-million times.
But Constantine's performance was absolutely brilliant. I really loved it. Feel free to agree or disagree :)
By the way, I'm really sad about missing Queen night :(

Innuendo was somewhat skilled. But I feel, missed the point; the guy had no real feel for the song I think.
the girl who sang under pressure was just... plain crazy.
big red is a different story. i seriously snorted and jeered at the poor delusional idiot.

I only really watched the 3rd season of American Idol, and then I sort of got into the 4th season, and then I also kind of got into the 5th season towards the end, but I have to tell you, if Chris had won instead of Taylor Hicks, I would probably be watching it again this year. I have to say that America has finally turned into one idiotic country. If we live in a world where John Lennon gets shot, and yet Taylor fucking Hicks can become the most popular singer in America, then something is definitely wrong there. I have to say that I don't believe Taylor had one little iota of talent in him. His singing was okay, but it was so overrated. And it's not that his dancing was bad. It's that it was so bad that it made me want to actually stick my fingers into my eye sockets and swirl my brain around until I go into a coma. Now Chris could actually sing, and although he is definitely no Freddie Mercury, his version of Innuendo was easily the best on the entire episode. Taylor nearly gave me a heart attack with his version of Crazy Little Thing Called Love.
I wonder if anyone actually made it all the way through that.

I thought only freaks entered American Idol?

Awww...I feel so bad for them. Simon is so mean. He should just say, "Thanks for trying, but I don't think your right for American Idol." He doesn't have to be so hurtful. That girl looked liked she was going to cry! :(
hey! i rooted for taylor during season 5!
