Secondly, I wouldn't trust any book to caption correctly. See the picture of Van Halen in the current issue of Record Collector...

Have you ever talked to coin collectors and listened to all of their itsy bitsy details about this coin or other? When I watch Antiques Roadshow on PBS in the USA, and the people from whatever city the Roadshow is in for that episode bring in their stuff to be evaulated, the appraisers can look at a vase for instance and talk about when and where it was made and who made it and lots of other details. I think of Queen as a tapestry, and each bit of information just fills in more color. I think it was in Peter Freestone's book where he was talking about Freddie's attention to detail and how when they made the Body Language video and the woman singing in the green sequined dress had to fall into the cake just right because there was only one cake made to fall into; and I thought, "I never saw a cake in that video." But when I looked at it again, there it was - a life-sized cake, and the shot was maybe three seconds.
I'll have to go with your guess. The audience seems to be standing on an incline, and that's what the venue was like at Slane Castle. At Knebworth it was pretty much a flat field.

I've seen "Slane" before as referenced to concerts, but I didn't know it was in Ireland. Thanks for the info. This is my amateurish guess, but since it looks like the Magic Tour, I would say it probably wasn't recorded professionally as Wembley was the main focus of the Magic Tour's recording by Queen's familiar people. Being that filming is so extraordinarily costly and complicated, plus adding on to that editing and distributing, Wembley was the clear and only focus. Live In Budapest was the Magic Tour, but it seems like Budapest professionals taped that as it said somewhere that all of the "tv" cameras in the country were rounded up to do so, and in the credits, the names of the camera persons are not English names.
