So is there a chance Freddie was infected in '86? Yes, a little. But that would mean the disease enveloped extremely fast. He probably got infected in the early 80's while fucking around in LA or NY.
We'll never know. I don't think even Freddie ever knew, which is of course pretty sad.

Freddie died after he stopped taking his medication. He was on pain killers but not the actual meds.
