My first exposure to Queen was in 1977--I was 9 years old. I saw them perform at Live Aid--thanks MTV for broadcasting it--in 1985 and thought they were amazing. Freddie had unbelievable stage presence and, his voice, of course, was magnificent. That was the closest I ever got to seeing the band live. The other day I watched their Live Aid performance on DVD and my eyes filled with tears. Fifteen years later, I still can't believe that Freddie was no longer with us. Freddie, you will always be remembered for the music shared with us and for the beautiful man that you were.

Well heres the scenario. I had just recently introduced Live Aid and A Kind of Magic to our 17 year old son. After watching these two amazing shows he looks over to me and says. "You want to know what wrong with Music today. They're just arent any amazing Rock idols with a stage presence like that to look up to anymore. thats whats wrong." Freddie you are a beacon and shall always hold a place in the hearts and the minds of mankind, and I thank you for that.

Dearest Freddie, That terrible date November 24 is coming nearer again and although there is not a minute in my life that I do not think about you (how could I?..as you live on in my heart..) I now am even more sad because my dear father and best friend has passed away on October the 24th last. There is no doubt in my mind however that he is safe now, with God in Heaven. Just like you, dear Freddie! My father died on his 81st birthday and he was such a huge fan of your music. We were always crying together when we heard your beautiful voice on the radio or television. And just like you I shall miss him terribly and love him for ever...

Dear Freddie: I have always thought you were a great person, good people as we say here. But some times I asked myself if it wouldn't be just my imagination or the fact of being a crazy fan.But time went on and little by little after your deth, people who knew you confirmed my thoughts.you were really a great man, sensitive , sweet and a loyal friend. i feel proud to be your fan.I love you dear.ana

I see now I've written a mistake in my first tribute to Freddie, I was 5 instead of 6. Freddie, you inspire me every day to love life! This month it'll be 15 years to the day you left us. But you didn't leave our hearts! Many of us carry you with us every single day! I know I do! I'll always love your music. Hearing it...I don't know, can't find the right words right now. I know they're written in my heart, but don't know how to express them, but I think you'll know what I mean! Love you always Sofie
