Freddie was the most talented musician and vocalist of all times...and in some ways, he still is. he has inspired millions and set a new standard for rock and vocals. he is my hero and he didn't deserve to die. He lives on in our hearts, minds and souls. We all love you freddie. Rest in Peace and take care of your self wherever you are right now.

Dear Freddie and the band, Why did Freddie have to go....He never deserved it by the sonds of things he was an amazing person!I am Freddies and the band number one fan. Whenever i listen to 'These are the days of our lives' i have to cry because it is so so so so sad because that was his last song. I really really really really wish that i could meet him but i cant, i really want to meet the band too! Im only 11 years old and as i write this my eyes start filling up with tears just why ....why did he have to go, why?

Not to long ago I posted a tribute to our beloved Freddie Mercury. As it is mentioned again and again Freddie Mercury is truly an inspiration and should not only be commended for his accomplishments, but also be loved and respected as someone who embraced the world in a beautiful way. However, again and again I hear people (around where I live) that just don't get it. They don't understand that behind all that dirty rock and roll business their was a man who was caring and forgiving. I think it is a shame that he must be ridiculed for his sexuality. As a straight man myself, I've learned to respect everyone I meet and give him/her a chance before I judge. I guess where I'm going with this is that Freddie Mercury has changed my life. He made me understand (not intentionaly) that being yourself is the most important thing in the world. I love and respect him just as a son might love his father. He was and still is an inspiration to me. Everything I do from composing music to loving the people around me for who they are has been a direct influence from him. Let's face it, he was one of kind. Another thing I would like to note is that his music was from the heart. It wasn't that useless crap that we hear on the radio today about "bangin' your next door neighbor's daughter" or "snorting that coke for goodness sake." He wrote songs that dealt with love and hope. His lyrics had passion as did the way he delivered the song. Freddie Mercury (including Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon) were real musicians with real talent. I'm not saying that they were the only "real" musicians, but they are among the top notch musicians in the history of not only rock and roll but music in general. Rest in peace Freddie, you'll never be forgotten.
