    Queen were due to play here in Cork in '79 but the ceiling and roof of the city hall wouldn't take the weight of the pizza oven rig. Unfortunately they had to cancel and played Dublin only.

    aah the memories. Was at both nights and have photos to prove it. Must get them out and post a few. The RDS Simmonscourt wasn't that small at all but at the time it was the best venue in Ireland. Interesting point.......
