Death on Two Legs
Dude, you're 44 years old and been a fan since 73 and you still don't have a clue as to what this song is about? It's about the Sheffield brothers and how they ripped off the band. It has nothing to do with the devil.

jazz
I agree Serry! I first got it when it came out in 78 as a 13 year old. I loved it then and still do but critics were't too thrilled with it. They were still expecting product similar to ANATO and songs like Liar. I do...

Polar Bear - Take 2
Glad to see that some of us are keen on the idea that SS was recorded during the "News" sessions. Those timbales give it away. Listen for them on GDML, Who Needs You, the drum break in Sheer Heart Attack, the BBC sess...

Did Freddie ever had sex with a woman?
A "condition"? Talk about ignorance...

Is this a real or fake?
I have all four autographs in two tour programs and this Freddie one is a fake. In his real autograph the double d's in his name are usually more pronounced than this version. They seem non-exsistent. Too shakey as well.

Polar Bear - Take 2
Hi GreatkingSam. Yeah, I agree with you on the vocals of Freddie on both tracks. There's no doubt that Polar Bear is from an early recording but Silver Salmon has too many green lights indicating the time period recor...

Polar Bear - Take 2
Thanks Sir GH. Glad to know I too have a supporter in this. When I got my copy of these tunes I immediately picked up on the drum sound for both, noticed the timbales in both tunes and put it all together. Roger must...

Polar Bear - Take 2
Thank you Sir GH. I was hesitant to bring this up but you seem to have the exact theory I do about Silver Salmon. I too believe it was just a jam. Freddie even says before the edit, " Let's try Silver Salmon. I know h...

Polar Bear - Take 2
I totally agree with you that Freddies' voice was higher in this recording as it was earlier in his career. That's the only evidence that this song may be recorded in the early 70's. There isn't much evidence against...

Polar Bear - Take 2
Thank you John. I just recently heard Silver Salmon for the first time. And I've been a fan for 28 years. The recording of that track to me sounds like it was recorded around the time of the News of the World Sessions...

SOMEBODY STOLE FREDDIE MERCURY'S BIKE (BICYCLE RACE PARODY)
I think this racist redneck should be banned from this site. I've got rope and a tree. Let's hang this son of a bitch!!! Who's with me???

US tour destined for massive failure!
I agree with Rock It. They don't need to worry about selling out shows or making a ton of money. THey've done that and the royalty checks keep coming in. So they want to do this to go out and tour and have FUN! Queen...

No Subject
Hey Demitrius, your grandmother was wrong. He got aids from sitting too close to the tv. Jeesh, can't you get your facts straight?

Things Queen should have done ... err ... maybe they did?
Freddie did that when I saw them in Providence in 78. Tossed the mic into the crowd and some guys just screamed in it for about 3 minutes.

Calling All Drummers!!!
I've been playing drums for as long as I've been a fan. 28 years. Roger was the reason I started playing after I bought News of the World. Growing up, I would come home from school and put on my lp's and just learn ev...

Has John ever said anything during a concert?
Ah, the mystery continues on John and his voice. Johns' mic was "live" during concerts but probably kept lower than the others' mics. Roger used it during the acoustic sets and a video of the band in South America has...

Queen album with the best drum sound?
I'm torn between Queen II and News of the World. Something about the sound of the drums on those two albums that gets me. I've been trying to achieve those tones on recordings I've done for years. The way the mics wer...
