Best Produced Album
I think for me it would be a toss up between QueenII or Innuendo.

The jazz tour and crazy tour
I agree!!! I saw them on the Jazz tour here in the States in November of 78. Unbelievable show!!! And I do agree that the Crazy Tour shows were great because Fredd'es' voice was in top shape then. I was Listening to t...

Chicago 1978
Hey Scully, don't let the negative shit about you get you down or make you defensive. You and I have e-mailed each other back and forth and I found you to be a very decent guy. And a very busy one too. I hope to have...

Freddie's voice change after 1979
Freddie started smoking late in '79. I have an old fanclub magazine where in his letter to fans he states that he has picked up smoking basically because everyone around him was smoking. So taking up the habit deifnit...

about Jazz
Damn, that poster cost me some sleepness nights when it first came out in 78. Possibly because I was 13 and I had it hanging right over my head above my bead. I once read that someone was looking for some of the girls...

about Jazz
There was music with that poster?

Robert Smith's Insulting "Opinion" of Queen
Thinking about it now, Smith must have been one of the punks back in the late 70's that dimissed Queen. The Sex Pistols, Clash etc. were at the front of that alliance. Doesn't really matter though, remember, Queen end...

Robert Smith's Insulting "Opinion" of Queen
An opinion is like an asshole... everyone has one and it sometimes is full of shit! So keep your big fat opinion to yourself Bobby!!!

What Is Your Most Treasured Queen Merchandise
This one is easy: Two tour programs autographed by all four members my cousin got for me when he was on tour with them back in the 70's. An autographed copy of Astounding Science Fiction with the robot on the front si...

Why did Queen Stop Touring United States
JohnC is absolutely correct!!! We are hard to follow, we are hypocrites. But I try not to subscribe to that way of thinking. I grew up listening to Britsh rock and Monty Python, Benny Hill etc. So I totally get the hu...

Why did Queen Stop Touring United States
Hey JohnC, you keep refering to us as "the Americans." Well, before you judge all of us "Americans" you need to know that THIS "American" has been following the band since '77 and THIS "American" understood the humor...

Earls Court Footage, Rare Live
The rare night you're referring to was the second night. I know the rock and roll medley from that night is available on a few websites that deal with rare videos. I have almost everything there is as far as footage b...

Roger's Great sense of humor
Roger does have a good sense of humor. I have a Rolling Stone magazine at home from 1981 where he wrote a scathing letter to the editors on an air sickness bag after they wrote a terrible article on the band when they...

Queen in Lesbian Bondage Shocker
S van der Veen is ABSOLUTELY correct on this promo poster. It was banned here in the States because our country (still to this day) is uptight about sexuality. There is nothing pornograpjic about the shot. There is no...

Dreamers Ball (live) question
You're right Sir GH. I saw them here in the States in 78 and they did it pretty much the way we hear it on the live album. Another piece of evidence that Rog and Bri used their voices is the video of the Paris show in...

Dreamers Ball (live) question
Both parts were done using their voices. Roger the kazoo and Brian the trombone effect. I have an old fanclub magazine from 79 after the Live Killers lp came out and a fan had written in asking the same question. the...

Chequered Freddie
Correct. The black and white checks were worn for the US "News" tour. For the European tour he used the black and white stripes. I recently saw the stiped one on ebay up for sale.

If you could only take 2......
I would have Queen II and News of the World but I'd doubt I'd be able to hear them on an island where I'm stranded if there's no electricity.

best live-versions of songs?
There are copies of the videos mentioned above. The Hammersmith gigs, Earls Court, Rainbow etc. are available through some fan sites and sometimes on ebay. There are bootlegs available as well. Even here in the States...

freddie's voice in 1986
I agree with the above statement. But Freddie always had trouble with his voice during tours. It's not like a guitar string where if it breaks you can fix it. And being a smoker doesn't help either.
