Freddie and Lloyd Webber (The Phantom of The Opera).
Can I just offer a nugget of thought to the -musical theatre is too hard for Freddie- comments? Long story short, of course he could've sung it, day in, day out. With training, I believe he'd have had very few problem...

Studios and desks
Good to see this thread living on! I haven't re-read the thread, but, I believe both ANATO and ADATR were mixed on a Trident desk. From my minimal knowledge, the desk added an airy treble to the sound. I'm not sure I'...

The Italian Kiosk Releases
Thistle's right. Unless it's a different compilation of material, it should just be the previous 2011 remasters. Still, it does make me wonder what's in this aside from that.

I wouldn't call that a review at all. It comes off more like a disgruntled fan that only focuses on the 3 "new" tracks, rather than the whole. Chip paper.

Hungarian Rhapsody CD - The Mix
Yeah, Brian's usually one of those players that is either pretty dead-on or quite relaxed. But dang, I must've missed that solo when I saw it at the cinema.

Hungarian Rhapsody CD - The Mix

Hungarian Rhapsody CD - The Mix

Hungarian Rhapsody CD - The Mix
Hmm...interesting. Here's what I'm hearing: (Note: using One Vision as the basis) Fairly low volume overall, lacking in high-end detail, Freddie was fairly compressed (low dynamics), Brian's guitar seemed pretty flat...

Hungarian Rhapsody CD - The Mix
Over the last week or so, I've been heavily adjusting my project studio. So, today, I wanted to listen to some tracks from various artists. Anyway, at some point, I realised I had the Hungarian Rhapsody CDs that came...

Sheer Heart Attack song Speeded up?
@tomchristie22 The story I'd always heard about the pitch thing came from Brian/Roger. Basically, Roger heard Brian's demo and liked it, but changed the tempo which also altered the pitch. So, it wasn't Brian playing...

Cheers for the download. The tracks disappeared from Youtube. But damn, these are great quality! Probably the best I've heard, too.
