Im not afraid of them, but I think they're nasty and I will KILL THEM.
Anyway to make this thread more "queenzone" oriented I will add.........Freddie Mercury looks like a black widow.
Therefore I kind of like them.

:O OH yes
My one and only fear. I hate them!!! I wish they could all DIE! DIE! Sometimes when I'm sleeping I wake up around 4am and I see huge spider in front of me, I jump out from the bed and turn on the lights and that little shit isn't there! My imagination....Oooohh...I hate them with a passion. It's disgusting to step on them, I have feeling that he will climb up on me :SSSSSS I would rather kill that shit with a gun->yes, they are that disgusting to me....
And those little fast legs....DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....
But I have never actually killed one. . .

I'm such a pussy when it comes to spiders that I open biology and nature books carefully because I get shit scared when a picture of a tarantula pops out.
My wife dared me to watch this entire Animal Planet documentary on Tarantulas. I have to say that even though they scare the shit out of me, I have a morbid fascination with them. They showed this huge bird eating spiders from the jungle in Venezuela and the local indian tribes eat them, and use the fangs as toothpicks.

I have to say it - scurry. <shudder> That's the alternate word, yes? The very sound of it conjures up some pretty frightening mult-legged creatures in my mind. OMG. The words "multi-legged" apparently have the same effect on me...
In all honesty, I don't mind spiders - not if they're outside somewhere. I figure, that's their house, so who am I to say a word about it? Also, I don't mind spiders that aren't moving. It's when those skinny little hairy legs get to twitching that the paralyzing tingles shoot up and down my spine. OMG... and when they walk/run/scurry/stretch or whatever you want to call it... damn it to freakin' hell. I can't stand it. No matter how brave and mature I try to be, it just doesn't happen for me.
One day, ages ago, I found one of those chunky spiders in my house - you know the kind. The Rocky Balboas of spiderworld. Well, I figured, who better to kill a spider than... my cat. :-) I scooped her up and showed her the spider. It took a while for her to realize what it was, I guess, because she just sat there like she was expecting to be brushed or something. Well, when that dang spider started to move, I screamed so loud, I scared myself! Must have scared my sweet little killer kitty, too, because she bolted from the room, leaving me and a twitchin' eight-legger all alone. The best I could do was run to the kitchen, grab a glass, and cup it over the nasty critter. Thankfully, a friend of mine came over that evening and laugingly took the glass and spider into the yard.

lol! You sound like me! I am so terrified of them when they are running that I can't even kill them! My son has always wanted a pet tarantula, and I told him that the day he brought one home would be the day he moved out ;-) About two months ago he came home grinning and told me he had got a new pet. I said "You didn't!" He said "Absolutely not!" Turns out, he bought a scorpion *Yikes*! I told him that Mr. scorpion had to live elsewhere, so he now resides at my son's workplace.

I don't mind them, but I'm not in love with them or anything.
But crickets...now THAT'S a different story.
When we go outside my friends all think it's funny to put crickets in my hair for some reason. I scream and shout and run all about... xD I hate the idea of something crawling around on my scalp...*shudders*

xD I would do the same. I can't understand people who have spiders for pets. I mean WHAT THE FUCK? Get a cute little doggy, maybe pug or golden retriever, get a cat...why tarantula??
Aren't they adorable??? ^_^
