I'm sure the rest of Queen are examining this film from every angle possible, therefore I highly doubt this movie will corrupt Freddie Mercury in any way.

On a more serious note, yes I think they should get some unknown actor. Even though Sacha may bear some resemblance to Freddie, I couldn't possibly go see the film if they choose him.

Sacha Cohen is BAD idea to play Freddie Mercury! This guy is not for this role! He should continue playing Ali G, Borat, Bruno....and other freaks, but stay away from Freddie! Sorry if here are Sacha's fans, this is just my opinion

He might surprise you. Jamie Foxx wasn't the first person you think of for a Ray Charles biopic either and he nailed. Another comedian btw! ;) Maybe you should stfu and wait till the flick even sees the light of day in the first place.

Fairy King, because he is born for comedian and shit, besides, he doesn't look like Freddie. They should find someone who really looks like him, and someone who is true fan... But think that Johnny is better idea for Freddie than Borat. I saw on the net that Sacha will not play Freddie, they don't know who will play, but It looks like that the Johnny will take the role....
