What in your opinion is the worst album?

I think Reg Strikes Back by Elton John
I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That is the only highlight

The Beach Boys with the album The Beach Boys, from 1985.

It all went very wrong there. Synthesizers?! Drumcomputers?! And above all, very crappy songs.

I kinda like the song California Calling, with Ringo Star on drums. But that is really it...

Kiss "The Elder" & "Unmasked" give me the creeps!

Anything with Sean Lennon written on it.

With so many idiots like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake releasing albums, it's hard to pick the worst...

Have to agree with Burak on this one. Just because someone CAN make an album doesn't mean they SHOULD make an album, and I could think of at last three pages worth that NEVER should have been made.

Oasis has plenty of horrendous albums.

What? The Elder is superb! Musically probably (no: definately!) the best album KISS ever made! (Though also the one that's most un-KISS :-)

Worst album ever?
I know lately some people tend to speak of it as a misconceived masterpiece, but I'm not buying that English hyping-crap.
Four vinyl sides of monotone, distorted guitar feedback will always be four vinyl sides of monotone, distorted guitar feedback: Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music should not even be considered 'music'.

But according to Lou himself -whom I regard very highly by the way- it can only be understood right under the influence of speed.
Hmmm... Never tried that...
