NEED MUSE TO TOUR SOON.

[/img]

Won't happen until 2010.

They said that they would love to release the new album and start touring in time for the summer, but chances are that they won't be able to release anything until late 2009 (that being the earliest).

Personally, I'd rather see them not be rushed in the studio and come up with something good, rather than having a mediocre album come out early.

I share you opinion. Matt aslo said that the next will featured maybe the biggest Muse's song ever, calling it "the Symphonic monster", that includes 3 tracks and strings arrangement by Matt. Can't wait to hear (and see) it!!!

You need a singer?

You need a drummer and a guitarist and a bass player .... I guess, your keyboardist could get away with staying in the band, but everyone else should be replaced - and fast.

I'm not kidding; have you considered perhaps just joining an existing band with good players, and writing material for them instead?  Your existing line-up would have to be almost entirely replaced, it wouldn't really be the same band anymore...

stop being silly zebonka, the band has 4 members and needs a singer, we have material for 2 albums at least already written and its better than anything muse, coldplay or any other talentless band could ever hope to write :) the only band who could was Queen with Freddie.

Exogenesis = That symphonic monster they've been talking about for so long.

It's funny how all the song titles sound very Muse-like, except for 'I Belong To You'. That could be something someone would find on a Celine Dion album.

If you read that article from the fuckin' NME (ask Roger about this magazine XD) , it says that "United States Of Eurasia" (which it will be the first single) " builds into a climax of multi-tracked Queen-style vocals". Can't wait to hear it!!!

Also it says that "the closing, three-part 'Exogenesis Symphony', which lasts over 15
minutes and is more bombastic than anything Muse have previously done."

Please hear this song, United States Of Eurasia.

You will be surprise with "Queen-ish" parts.
It's an awesome song. I love it. Looking forward to hear the entire new album!!!

I love Muse and I love Queen, but in all honesty this is a bit too much of Muse trying to sound like Queen.

...then again, I have to say that there's a part of me that loves it.

I concur.

Can't wait to see them October 3rd with U2!  I'm worried about this general admission business, though. ;-)
WOW!
Just finished listening to the new Muse album (twice). AMAZING.
It has all the things on it I love in music. Truly fantastic album.

While 'The Resistance' is not as great as I expected it to be, it's still amazing!

You guys should have seen my face when I heard those 30 second clips from iTunes. I was about to cry thinking that this was going to be Muse's 'Hot Space', and the only shit song is 'Undisclosed Desires'. Listening to the songs in full truly made me appreciate the whole body of work.

I really love the album! It's full of great songs: Resistance, United States of Eurasia, Unnatural Slection, MK Ultra, I Belong to you.
Exogenesis is just incredible, really breathtaking. Any other today's band can't do this.
