I had watched that, it's really amazing. Céline is such a talented, wonderful singer. She makes the song really happen (TSMGO) in a very, very real sense, it's a great tribute to the band and Freddie. She still rocks, she's in top form, not only technically, as always, but physically as well. A hell of a show!

I liked the speech but she sings the songs with ZERO feeling, all she has is the range, she does not have any power or feeling though.
I don't have time to read all the replies, so this has probably already been said, but:
It's just alright. She needs to practice a little more the next time she wants to do a little tribute such as this. It's mainly her French*ness coming through and not pronouncing words properly which annoys me. She can obviously overcome this when she really knows a song, as she's proven with her chart successes...

Right! Good point! TM, but you do realize that "feeling" in music has little, and sometimes even nothing, to do with actual personal emotions, don't you? "Feeling" is a set of techniques.
It's not like the singer is crying or raging inside. He might as well be, but that sometimes harms the performance instead of giving it the "feeling", which is a set of cleverly designed techniques that take some good time to master. The singer doesn't need to be desperate or raging to sing TSMGO, for instance. He has to master the techniques that will make him sound as if he were in such emotional state.
And, of course, whether a particular performance by a singer has or no "feeling" depends on the emotional responses of listeners as well, and they vary enormously!
In this particular performance, I think Céline has grasped the elements necessary for giving a moving and engaging performance of TSMGO.
You have not been, so to speak, affected by her performance, which is perfectly fair and normal. It's indeed very subjective.
