I'd like to live in the universe you're living in, where my band can be the greatest thing ever without ever selling a single record.
Amazing. I wouldn't even have to play live gigs, I wouldn't need to record more than six or seven songs. Hell - I could fire band members periodically just for the fun of it!
And STILL be the best - oh, sorry..... 2nd best.
I wouldn't want to get ahead of myself by going for the top spot.
