yes zebonka, it all has to do with the potential of the band and what it can do musically.
So to succeed in life, you don't need to ever prove yourself or do anything great. You just need to think you are awesome.
FUCK THAT.
We are just starting to get things together now, you will see progress soon but as i said, Quality is quality no matter if 1 person buys the album or 100 million.
If 1 billion people bought a britney spears single and only 1 person bought the bohemian rhapsody single it wouldnt matter because bohemian rhapsody IS million times better and more skillfully done and the sales cant change that FACT.

Don't steer the conversation in that direction. This isn't about Britney Spears, please try to pay attention to what I was saying.
How do you honestly expect anyone to like what you're doing if there's not a lot of it, and what is there isn't very well done?
I had this Myspace up for a few months, had a couple of songs on it, and I'd spent weeks on my own putting them together... and couldn't figure out (at first) why people weren't nuts about it all.
Really, I listen to that stuff now and I know exactly why - it SUCKED.
Stop listening to your own press, guy... okay, it's very easy to stick to your guns and say "I AM RIGHT, YOU PEOPLE ARE SHEEP".
In case you haven't heard, these 'sheep' are the people who are supposed to buy your music and stuff. You'd really do well to listen to what they're saying.
I couldn't figure out why people didn't like my music, so I did an about-face and wrote something simple and amusing - and bam, they liked it. I wasn't even TRYING.
You raised an interesting point about Bohemian Rhapsody and Britney Spears earlier... you might want to look at it this way though; there is a certain talent in making something that people like. It's a really important thing, unless you live in a cave and you're the only person listening to your music.
Obviously, then there's those lucky cunts who can do BOTH... make good music, and have lots of people like it. Bam, Bohemian Rhapsody.
