I loved Harrison Ford's reply to the critic's who gave the movie a lukewarm reception:
"It is not unusual for something popular to be disdained by some people. I fully expect it, and I'm not worried about it. I work for the people who pay their money to see the movie. They are my customers.

Actually, the original title of the film was not going to be "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".
It was really going to be called "Indiana Jones and the Death of Indiana Jones".
