The Show Must Go On could have been written for Paul he sings it with so much passion.
Talking to alot of casual Queen fans at work today, you know the ones who don't accept poor Freddie is dead, and there was a very positive reaction to the performance hopefully Paul will now become stablished and accepted and people will see Queen & PR as a true band in their own right building on their individual legacys!!

Same old stuff... nothing new here. No traces of a new band anywhere. I thought the proximity of a brand new release would show a new tight band but they're still nothing more than (the leftovers of) Queen + PR.
I was expecting a forthcoming tour full of new music and excitement and no more than five oldies, just for the memories, but now I can see the it will be exactly the opposite. And closing with WWRY / WATC. God forbid otherwise.

Sorry, but I'm neither troll nor loser. I may just be blamed for believing that with the new project, Q+PR had a honest intention of starting over as a renewed and fresh band. Now I see it's just more of the same. The have no intention to do so whatsoever.
They've already played C-lebrity live on TV, they could have done it here again, just to show the world that they're doing something new (that's no crime, they did the same in Live Aid playing Ga-Ga and Hammer to Fall and nobody accused them of anything). But no! they'll keep playing the hits, over and over.
Now I see why are they so keen on releasing a new Greatest Hits CD/DVD every year.
They've already played C-lebrity live on TV, they could have done it here again, just to show the world that they're doing something new (that's no crime, they did the same in Live Aid playing Ga-Ga and Hammer to Fall and nobody accused them of anything). But no! they'll keep playing the hits, over and over.

Like I wrote somewhere else on this board. It was a short set on a stadium gig with a shared bill, during those circumstances its only natural that the band bring out the best cards they have. Did you expect them to play Funny how love is or something like that at Live Aid aswell? And the performance went down a storm so its evident that they did the right thing.
Besides theyve got some of the best stadium tracks ever they would be mad not to play them during at a gig like this.

Actually it wasn't adventurous in the slightest.
Considering that the Queen songs sounded just as half-arsed as usual, finishing the set with Paul's biggest and best known hit guaranteed a positive end to the set... I would expect them to keep this order on the upcoming tour as well.
