What are the worst trends ever?
I saw this on another board and decided to see what you guys think.
Me, I think these are the worst trends:
-bands in which the lead singer sounds like he's dying or taking a dump (jonas brothers, screamo bands, a lot of today's metal bands, fall out boy, etc.)
-saying owned and spelling it pwnt
-"scene" hair (there's no name for it, look it up)
-skinny jeans with flats! i hate that trend!
-wearing a dress with leggings underneath
-wearing a skirt with leggings underneath
-"emo" hair
-guys wearing girls' skinny jeans
-people trying really hard to be unique when they act and look just like others (like the goth conformists on South Park)
-big 80s hair
-lame power ballads about love in the 80s
-crocs
-ugg boots
-annoying Queenzoners (have you noticed that? i have since i'm one of them XD)
-today's teen movies in which there is a stupid happy ending (guy wants girl, guy is bullied, guy beats bullies and gets girl, the end; or girl is unpopular, popular girls hate her and have nothing better to do than to make her live through hell, girl beats bullies, girl gets popular guy)
-everyone loving juno (i hated that movie, i didn't get the point)

I think that's enough for now.
What do you think are the worst trends ever?

the poof

you know, that pseudo-mohawk that girls wear that looks like a lock of hair that wont cooperate?

aaahh!!!

does anyone remember stirrup pants? those were terrible.

and im not a fan of these bands that are accepted as 'good' when they (like you said) sound like theyre taking a dump. wasnt geddy lee enough? XD and when theyre 'music' is really just a lot of noise?

and THANK YOU i think crocs are the fugliest creations made into a so-called shoe. and you know what? theyre not even comfortable!!! i dont know why people insist they are!

Nowt wrong with any of those. You're rubbish.

Stupid Peaches Geldof-esque scene girls that you see all over London. 95% of which are Peaches Geldof. More of a pet hate than a trend, but Peaches seems to think she's a trend, so I suppose it counts.
Wolverine sideburns from the 70s.

Fashion trends of the 70s were probably the worst anyone has ever come up with.

-Twilight. I'm fucking sick of Twilight. The book wasn't even that good. I'm ever the more annoyed with Twilight fans (Some, not all) who obsess over Edward Cockhead Cullen and post pictures of his ugly face all over their MySpace and all over their schoolbooks. Get a life.

-All the good old movies being remade. Hairspray, and then they're planning on remaking Rocky Horror, and maybe the Breakfast Club, and Clockwork Orange, etc.?!? And why do the movie directors do this, they say? Because they think kids won't want to see the original because everything's "Dated"-- Music, actors, trends. Kiss my dick! See the original film, stupid ass!

-Tanning. If you're not naturally tan, don't coat yourself in orange powder or insert yourself into a tanning bed. Surely this will take a toll on you later in life; you can't bake yourself in an ultraviolet oven for thirty minutes a day and not expect skin problems. You're going to look like shoe leather by the time you're thirty.

-Fat girls who wear tight Abercrombie and Fitch clothing so their rolls and bulges can be seen by all. Goddamn it, get some dignity. Put a baggy t-shirt on or lose some fucking weight.

-Scene girls who think dinosaurs and robots are cute. Who established this?

Pssht xD

NOOOOO. I LOVE THE 70S TRENDS. :(

All the glam glitter. OH MY GAWD. *drools* Men in makeup... XD

Oh yeah, I hate the wolverine sideburns... LMAO. :)

Abercrombie and Fitch is already a bad fashion trend on itself.

Not to mention how fuckin gay the A&F advertising is.

-I have to second the Twilight thing. I liked the books, too, until their fanatics ruined them for me. -.-' They're definitely over-rated.

-Hollister whores. No explanation needed.

- Crocs. THE UGLIEST SHOES EVER FUCKING MADE. Why don't you just take fucking hardened chewing gum and stick it on your foot? Those shoes suck. And by the way, those who say their comfortable...comfortable my ass! If you have comfort issues, wear slippers because they're sure as hell better-looking than those fugly Crocs.

- Disney Channel music. You know what I'm talking about: I'm talking about those people that are sitcom/ show stars and music stars from the success of their shows. None of those people even have talent or musical background, and yet, they skyrocket to fame and suddenly become an icon. Take Hannah Montana, or the cast of High School Musical. Talentless, ugly people who become icons for drooling preteens across the globe. Their merchandise sells like hot cakes...it's pathetic. What happened to the days of musicians dedicated to *music*, not riding TV fame to do some musical project to earn a few extra bucks? And by the way, none of these "actors" can act, either.

I'm sure there's a zillion things, but that's all I can think of immediately.

Ugg boots are soo comfortable. I think I wore mine every day for about 6 months.
And Juno is an awesome film. Don't hate ;)

I hated Juno!
It was god awful! Honestly, I thought it was just a stupid film about some girl who can't act and who made pregnancy look like some easy thing to go through. It had tons of pop culture references which weren't even funny! Honestly, I hated that film.
And I hate the fact that Rock n Roll High School is going to be remade!!!!
Riff Randle is my hero and now they are remaking her?!?!?!?!
