Oh yay!
More of you replied!
Well, I'm glad to see that this is now about trends!

^ Your thread is a hit Lizvette! Why have those sloppy ass 'flip flop' type sandals become acceptable footwear in public places?

I know! XDDDDDDDDDD
You should see my other post under this thread.
I'm pretty pissed about this whole argument that Fatty and Jake had.
I'm glad it sorta ended on Deaky's birthday.

What's wrong with flip flops? I don't get paying 40 bucks for a pair of "Rainbow" flip flops, though. That's crazy to me.
Crocs are definitely a bad trend. They are just fugly.

I'm sick to death of seeing Hannah Montana's face on EVERYTHING, as well. Also, High School Musical, Camp Rock, Jonas Brothers, etc.... When will it end?

I think Jake and Fatty just need attention, i don't think they are trying to screw with your thread because they dislike you. But if your happy i'm happy. Erin maybe its that people that wear flip flops just tend to have gross looking feet. Not that you have gross feet! I'm sure you have beautiful feet.

No, I don't dislike StoneColdClassicQueen... I didn't mean to make a fuss, when I read the thread, I noticed people didn't always refer to bad fashion/bad trends, so I had a go at it. I didn't mean to cause StoneColdClassicQueen to be upset, and I don't think Fatty did either.
So, for my contribution...
My least favorite trends are (some of them, maybe all were listed), but they are
1. Severe Emo's!
... now, sometimes I see some people who are emo to be okay, but some go over the top, and start living a whole different life than reality.
2. Redneck Wannabes
Wearing everything Carhart... please. This is the top trend in my area, and it's lame. We don't live in the 'sticks' here, but everyone seems to act as if they are a redneck. I'm totally not in style with the majority of people my age in this town. It's so funny/stupid, that I've seen people throw mud on their trucks to act as if they've been four-wheeling with it.
3. Rap/Gangster wannabes
Yep.... don't like that trend. The pants down to the knees, the boxers up to the rib cage. These people who do this, talk as if they are performing a rock song. They literally downgrade their education to be in this trend, while walking over their pants at the same time.

I knew I'd think of more, pssht XD
-Popped collars on Polo t-shirts and those "casual" shirts that places like Hollister and American Eagle sell. What's even more obnoxious is when only one side of the collar is popped and the other lies down normally, or when there are two Polos involved and one has a popped collar while the other doesn't.
-For whatever reason the little angora-sweater-around-the-shoulders thing is "coming back" into popularity, if you will, where I am. Come on. You don't live in Greenwich, Connecticut and you don't have a Yacht. Take that damn thing off before I come up behind you and strangle you with it.
-Jeans that come ripped/destroyed/aged/whatever. These usually cost more than normal jeans even though they look shitty and that stylish little "worn" part on the knee of your jeans will likely turn into a gaping hole after three months. I mean, at some point they had to look at a pair of "naturally destroyed" jeans and said, "Hey, that looks cool! Let's make jeans with the holes and tears already there so kids can look like they've scaled a jagged cliff in them without ever actually doing anything!"
-All the shoes that kids wear nowadays that used to be made fun of by the masses, or at least not mainstream.. Like Off-The-Wall Vans, Converse, ballet shoes/flats, Birkenstocks, etc. I've no problem with those shoes and wear them all, but I wore Birkenstocks a lot when I was little and got made fun of mercilessly for them. I mean, God damn it, now every cockhead wears them (Or at least the cheap knockoffs from American Eagle).
-When places like AE and A&F think their shit is so fabulous that their brainwashed customers will buy any damn thing they put out there. I was at American Eagle a month or so ago, and they had this fugly pair of strappy, chunky, brown leather Jesus sandals, the kind that make your toes stick out like three inches over the edge of the shoe and make your feet smell like yoghurt cultures. I mean, if some poor sod at my school bought those exact shoes from Land's End they'd be looked down upon and made fun of. But if they're from AE---No problem! You can strut your stuff in your fugly Jesus sandals all day and you'd even get compliments!
-Fake bands that were thrown together by some Svengali as a quick way to make millions of dollars, like Danity Kane (Who only got famous for winning "Making The Band 478416") and The Pussycat Dolls. They have like ten people! That's not a band!
-Cheap, fake, reality TV shows that everyone knows are scripted but for whatever reason top the Nielsen ratings anyway. ("Rock of Love," "I Love New York," "I Love Money," "The Hills")
-When kids put so much shit on their MySpace page that it takes like an hour to load, but this hour is usually cut short because the page will likely crash your browser. But then if it should happen to load (at last), it's usually packed with things you're not even interested in, like a Panic at the Disco music video you've already seen thirty times or a big slideshow presentation of their family vacation pics--Fucking Truth Box?! I *just* wanted to leave a comment! XD
I use too many details. D:

Che Guevara shirts are one of the worst trends ever.
You don't know who's the bigger dumbass, the one who has no knowledge of who Che Guevara is and wears it because it's trendy, or the one who knows Che and thinks it's cool to make a statement by glorifying a terrorist.
What makes a Che supporter with his stupid shirt even more stupid, is that some capitalist is making a good income selling those shirts.
