back in 2003 i used to meet some people for interviews as there are:
rick and francis from status quo (rick told me the story with roger and the jail in menorca :-D )
the folks of deep purple on their first germany-gig ofthe bananas tour. had a nice chat with roger glover. met ronnie james dio on the stage floor right after his gig as support (and got a 150bucks bootleg signed :-D)
the folks of toto with a burnt out simon philips...
furthermore i had alice cooper on the phone telling me the background for one of my favourite songs (formerLeeWarmer)...
ahja, gary brooker of procul harum which i met short time after lonnie donegans passing...
and some german metal-folks aswell as doro pesch and the guys of helloween....
but unfortunately no one of the queen-crew. goddamit.

used to let sign my guitar by (nearly) all those c-lebrities... quite a nice item, i tell you. and i play it eversince...

And Deep Purple, last year. They were all so nice. Steve Morse signed my violin and my favourite Kansas album.

Yeah, seriously...?[/QUOTE]We were waiting outside the hotel in the fucking snow for this idiot. The other members from the band came out one by one and they were all very nice and kind to us.
We were only 6 or 7 guys waiting for that asshole. We waited for hours and when he finally came out, he had this "disgust" expression in his face I will never forget, when he saw us.
He came out of the hotel, barely said 2 or 3 words to us, got inside a taxi and ran away.
We waited for him in the snow, we only wanted him to sign our shit, maybe a pic or two. We were very calm, it's not like we were stalking him or something. And he didn't have the consideration to do that or say THANKS FOR COMING TO MY SHOW. Because here in Argentina, that asshole is only known between shredders and stuff. Nobody fucking knows Mr Big or whatever. You can't get his records here because there aren't any. You earn your money thanks to the people that buys your shit and goes to your gigs, and that without mentioning that his fans are moooostly guitar players, specially shredders. Having such limited public, I don't think you wanna lose the support from those fans.
Later on, he returned to the hotel and 2 of my friends were still there. He signed their shit and took a pic with them and he was like OK OK, I WILL DO IT JUST TO MAKE YOU GO AWAY. They waited him for hours IN THE FUCKING SNOW. He didn't even say THANK YOU.
My dissapointment was because he always plays to be the funny guy on tv, interviews, clinics and shit. You expect him to be fun and nice because that's how he shows himself.
If Malmsteen had been an asshole to me, I wouldn't be surprised because everybody knows he is a cunt. But this guy was supposed to be funny and cool. He turned out to be an ungrateful asshole.
Eric Martin, from Mr. Big as well, was all the opposite. The nicest guy you could ever meet. He was funny and cool with us, thanked us for going to the gig. One of my friends gave him a necklace as a gift and Eric wore the necklace during the gig, which is something that wasn't necessary but he showed he really cares for his fans and treats people like people and not like scum, like his old pal Paul Gilbert does. Ritchie Kotzen was very nice too but he was a little shy tho.

I thought he sounded funny, I loved his accent but ya, he was too hyper and I hated his jeans. I guess I'm just old, I can't do those skinny jeans, especially on men. It was weird. He is hilarious though but how funny can you possibly be when all you have to talk about is the Jonas Brothers? The whole VMAs were boring last night. The only performance I liked was Pink's.
