About Russell Brand, I finished watching the VMAs on TIVO and I watched all of Russell Brand's segments, and fast forwarded through most of the other stuff. So, I would say that to me, Russell Brand was the best part of the VMAs. I thought he was very good, but the format was not good enough for him. I think the VMAs are kind of dumb, awkward and embarrassing, yet he did well. The ending was really cute with Russell and Britney riding off together - to his dresssing room? Ha. Oh, and the commercials leading up to the VMAs with Russell Brand were very good.

I agree with you Donna on the VMAs. I did enjoy Russell and I was very happy Britney won.
