I myself think the album is great. But like many has stated, this is no longer Freddie Mercurys Queen, it´s Brian, Roger and Pauls Queen. So I wasn´t sure if I was going to like it. But I did and I´m glad they keep their careers going. The only bad thing about the album is it´s title and the title track; The Cosmos Rocks. IMO Still burning would be a better choice of title. And I think many woulod agree with me. It´s more likely to have a negative approach to the album with a title like that. Am I wrong?

They are not 30 anymore and this is not 1986.What did you expect? How many artists appeal to teenagers today? With or without Freddie it would never have been the same. Im just glad they do what they feel like instead of trying to imitate themselves when they were half the age they are now.
They don't mind jamming with the Foo Fighters, or being inducted into VH1 Hall of Fame. All whilst being cheered on by "kids".
I'm yet to be convinced those same kids will embrace this new album.
Another example of out of touch is the phony political statement that is "Warboys"
With people everywhere knowing someone posted overseas, the "Warboys" held in such contempt by Rodgers+Queen, that song is flat out misguided from any side of politics. How that song will play in the southern United States, I can only imagine.
At least have the guts to go after the Bush/Blair/Howards or Bin Ladens of the world who keep sending these kids into wars. Or the companies making millions out of it, not the kids doing their duty.

My problem with Warboys isn't the statement. Its the production, ever since I heard C-lebrity, i've thought that they've tried too hard. I guess thats what happens when you have 6 people producing an album.
This is a Paul Rodgers +Queen album.

Songs mean different things to different people. The first thing I thought about when I heard this song is kids in Africa carrying AK47s - war boys. However, it could also be interpreted as a criticism of the military in general, and in particular how they recruit kids to fight. Do a google search on child soldiers and the UK features prominently. The US also send recruiters into high schools as far as I'm aware. There's absolutely nothing wrong with someone writing a song about this. In fact, rock and roll has always been about rebellion, and it would be odd to say the least to hear any of these three write about supporting war and recruiting child soldiers.
