He was not a christian, but he sure was opened to the concep of that religion, maybe he believed on jesus, at least, he believe on christmas, and on the book of Jim, he said that he prayed for him when he noticed that freddie was dead, that makes me think that maybe they have already done something like that when freddie was seriously ill... well, anyways, I hope he is in heaven, if such place exist, because I intend to go there to talk to him, and maybe we can sing something together... jajaja... and, if he is in hell like he said he will be, i´ll try to go visit...

You dont have to be religious to write songs concerning stuff related to religion.

Exactly.  Religious texts are about as useful as toilet paper as far as facts are concerned, but there's good storytelling in all of them.  If you look hard enough, that is.  There's usually a lot of misogyny (probably spelled that wrong) in there that you have to sift through.

Violence, genocide, rape, you name it. Have a look at Leviticus in the Old Testament; and then there are these far-right freaks who say the Quran is a violent book...

i've pasted the lyrics here - so that you can try explain:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"I am forever searching high and low But why does everybody tell me no
Neptune of the seas Have you an answer for me please
And the lily of the valley doesnt know

I lie in wait with open eyes I carry on through stormy skies
I follow every course My kingdom for a horse
But each time I grow old
Serpent of the nile Relieve me for a while
And cast me from your spell and let me go

Messenger from seven seas has flown To tell the king of rhye hes lost his throne
Wars will never cease Is there time enough for peace
But the lily of the valley doesnt know"
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

ok. now i see some mythology, some Shakespeare and even some ancient Egypt...but lo and behold NO CHRISTIANITY...can someone please tell me what i missed

I don't see it either in that song.  But what about Jesus and Liar...

Jim did say that freddie used to pray before going to sleep, and I think Peter said that as well...  And Freddie did mention God in many lyrics.

Like someone said, you don't necessarily have to be a Christian to write about religion, but it seems likely...
In any case, I didn't say "God" when I was an atheist...

I think it's possible that he might have come around to the concept of accepting and believing in Christ. But will we ever really know? Not until our time comes...

And as a final note...FUCK HUMANISTS.

That's right! Fuck the ones that are more religious than most Christians or Muslims I know and don't know how to keep their fucking mouths shut and their beliefs to themselves.

Am I to understand from this that you've converted? To Christianity, or Islam, or what?
