So is making blanket statements that judge millions of individuals. I've no personal love for organized religion, but come ON, man.

well you have to be somewhat stupid to believe in MAN MADE fairy tales as "gods" words. Its literally like a childrens story book which doesnt make any sense at all.

I ask this because of some of the lyrics or his earlier songs that he wrote ex: Mad the Swine (contents of the lyrics), Lily of the Valley etc.

I think it's possible that he might have come around to the concept of accepting and believing in Christ. But will we ever really know? Not until our time comes...
And as a final note...FUCK HUMANISTS.

Oh great, a deranged fanatic.

I'm afraid you're mistaken. I'm neither deranged, or a fanatic. Nice try though.

You say "come around to the concept of accepting and believing in Christ" which is the phrasing used by evangelical Christians (who stress the "accepting" part, as they consider Christ's being and divinity a fait accompli) and "fuck humanists", by which you distance yourself from the main current of secularism in this world. I call that fanaticism.

i've pasted the lyrics here - so that you can try explain:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"I am forever searching high and low But why does everybody tell me no
Neptune of the seas Have you an answer for me please
And the lily of the valley doesnt know
I lie in wait with open eyes I carry on through stormy skies
I follow every course My kingdom for a horse
But each time I grow old
Serpent of the nile Relieve me for a while
And cast me from your spell and let me go
Messenger from seven seas has flown To tell the king of rhye hes lost his throne
Wars will never cease Is there time enough for peace
But the lily of the valley doesnt know"
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
ok. now i see some mythology, some Shakespeare and even some ancient Egypt...but lo and behold NO CHRISTIANITY...can someone please tell me what i missed

I don't see it either in that song. But what about Jesus and Liar...
Jim did say that freddie used to pray before going to sleep, and I think Peter said that as well... And Freddie did mention God in many lyrics.
Like someone said, you don't necessarily have to be a Christian to write about religion, but it seems likely...
In any case, I didn't say "God" when I was an atheist...
It seems as likely as Freddie believing in fairies and giants, because he wrote Ogre Battle and My Fairy King.
I never had the idea that any of the Queen members where religious whatsoever. Except maybe "2nd hand" religion, as a tradition in a family. (ie. Marriage in catholic churches, because it has happened in a family for hundreds of years)

But you are ignoring the other arguments: the fact that friends of his have said he would pray, and he would say "God bless you" at concerts.

What about the song All God's People? and John Deacon's My Life Has Been Saved? christianity links?

People, apart from the fact that we will never know for sure, there are two points which we overlooked in this topic.
1) Freddie was in a Catholic School. I agree "Mad the Swine" is a gospel song with sheer Christian text. "Jesus" - no comment and last but not least "Beelzebob" is a character from Christian religion and not from muselim or any other.
However point 2) is more interesting to me and it really puzzles me.
2) Freddie was the god-father of Mary's eldest son! So far so good BUT... According to the christian canons - you cannot be a god-father UNLESS you are a christian yourself! That's what really makes the whole story odd!

You're reading too much into what I said. Apparently I need to be really careful with how I word things. To clarify, although I am a Christian, my only problem w/ humanists are the ones who run their mouths and trash others; they are all retards, and they're more religious than most people I know (The 'Christians that do that, mainly fundamentalists are jokes...most believers w/ a brain realize that they're charlatans). Despite my spiritual convictions, I am diametrically opposed to 'organized religion' so I'm not a "church person." You have read too much into what I said before, I am NOT a fanatic. All due respect, you need to get out more.

Well if he did become christian, he obviously kept it secret from the public, but why? It's such a mystery. Of course, I always suggest emailing Brian May, but I doubt that Brian would openly talk about it when Freddie didn't

No offense, but neither point is all that odd or leads to proof of Freddie being christian.
1) Non-christian families send their kids to catholic school all the time. They view the religious instruction there as a way of learning about another religion, not as a means of adopting it as their own. Writing stories, articles, songs, whatever, with christian connotations proves a working knowledge of it, not necessarily an adherence to it. I'm sure our own Thomas Quinn and SirGH could write some interesting christian prose and no one can ever accuse either of them of being christian.
And, again, no offense, but there's nothing very interesting about Freddie being someone's god-father.
2) I had my daughter christened by a Lutheran pastor and chose a great guy to be her god-father. Thing is... the guy is Jewish. His religion was simply a non-issue. All he had to do was say 'yes' when asked if he denounced Satan. Of course, that never would have happened in a catholic church but that's no reason to think because Freddie was someone's god-father that he was christian at some or any point in his life.
